Welcome

20180513_113159(1)Thank you for visiting Bridgeway!! The number of men and women being incarcerated in the United States continues to increase every year. Prisons are over-crowded leading to fights, riots, injury to staff, and even deaths.

Matthew 25:36 “I was in prison and you came to visit me…I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”

Cheri began going into the prisons sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus and doing bible study to those who were incarcerated.

The average of 76% of inmates re-offend within the first 5 years. More outside support and housing proved to be of great need.

With the first house approved, God Birthed Bridgeway!! Cheri began a program of re-entry for those incarcerated! Besides housing, Bridgeway provides help with personal needs, (clothing, hygiene) employment, drivers license, and many more great resources.

Our graduation success rate of 94% thus far, reveals a successful re-entry, with many of them still living an active Christ-centered life. HE is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Through Bridgeway they see the love of Christ, HIS forgiveness and the fact that HE did create them for a “plan and a purpose” as HE tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, and in Ephesians 2:10 “we are HIS handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

The first 7 years of our existence, Bridgeway has been self-supporting. Due to its large growth, mighty needs, and the over-crowded prisons, we recently became an official 501c-3 non-profit. If you feel called to support our mission you may do so here or at the donation tab above.

Thank you and God Bless,

Cheri Rosenberry/Bridgeway
